On the eve of the opening of the COP 24, The Embassy hosted, at the French Residence, the participants of the Climate Change Leadership Academy workshop, in conjunction with the Embassy of Costa Rica attended by our colleague Lilly Edgerton Picado, Ambassador of Costa Rica, the Deputy Permenent Secretary of the Ministry of Planning of Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Sterling Chadee, participating schools, organizers of the workshop and several other guests.

This three-month workshop was attended by students from various schools in Trinidad and Tobago, who participated in several training sessions on climate change issues and ways to address it, climate-related communication and public awareness, and the fundamentals of leadership, which will allow the young students to later carry out mobilization work in these areas within society.
